Sundae Faire™

Sundae Faire™ is a curated resale marketplace offering a mix of new, vintage, and pre-loved items. Because many items are unique or limited in availability, our return policy is designed to be clear and fair for both buyers and the business.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • The return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery

  • The item was not described correctly in the listing

  • The item arrives damaged in transit

  • The wrong item was shipped

Requests must be submitted by email to:
hello@sundaefaire.com

Include:

  • order number

  • item name

  • reason for return

  • photos showing the issue

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Condition Requirements

Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were shipped.

Items must:

  • not be worn

  • not be altered

  • not be damaged after delivery

  • include any packaging that came with the item

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • vintage items sold as vintage condition

  • items marked final sale

  • jewelry for hygiene reasons

  • personalized or custom items

  • clearance items

  • items discounted more than 30 percent

  • items damaged due to misuse after delivery

Because many pieces are one-of-a-kind resale items, exchanges are generally not available.

Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to an error by Sundae Faire™, the buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Return shipments must:

  • use a trackable shipping method

  • be securely packaged

  • include the order information

We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Refund Processing

Once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Refund processing time:

5 to 10 business days depending on the payment provider.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return was caused by our error.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before shipment.

Once an order has shipped, it must follow the standard return process.

Damaged Packages

If a package arrives visibly damaged:

  1. Take photos of the package before opening.

  2. Photograph the item and packaging materials.

  3. Email hello@sundaefaire.com within 48 hours of delivery.

This documentation helps us file claims with shipping carriers if needed.

Resale Item Disclosure

Sundae Faire™ sells both new and pre-loved merchandise. Some items may show minor signs of wear consistent with normal use.

We photograph and describe items carefully so buyers can make informed purchasing decisions.

By purchasing from the website, you acknowledge that resale items may include minor imperfections that do not affect wearability.

Our Condition Guide

Every item is carefully inspected before it is listed for sale. We review quality, wear, and overall condition so you know exactly what you are purchasing. Select designer items receive an additional review by trained staff who look for flaws and check for signs of counterfeit pieces.

Items are placed into the following condition categories.

Brand New

Item is new with original tags.
Item has not been worn.
Minor marks from storage or handling may be present but overall condition remains new.

Like New

Item appears nearly unused.
Fabric, structure, and hardware show little to no visible wear.

Lightly Worn

Item has been gently used and remains in excellent wearable condition.
You may notice slight fading, light pilling, or minor surface marks on hardware.

Pre-Loved

Item has been worn and shows normal signs of use.
Possible minor flaws such as light pilling, faint stains, small fabric pulls, or up to two small holes.

Repairable Find

Item has visible flaws that may require repair.
These pieces still have life left in them and may be desirable because of the brand, style, or demand in the resale market.

Fraud Prevention

Sundae Faire™ reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds if:

  • fraudulent activity is suspected

  • the returned item does not match the original item sent

  • return policies are abused

We document inventory before shipment for verification purposes.
